At the heart of our tooling is a multi-tooth straight line cam interface, which increases the amount of face to face contact area in the cam keys. This allows the mechanism to maintain exceptional straight line displacement characteristics throughout the stroke. This delivers maximum rigidity even at the end of stroke, when the slide/cartridge assembly are at the maximum radial distance from the bar body, where cutting forces are at their extreme.
